equency\n\nEvery 90 days lagging the quarter being measured (90 days after
the end of the quarter).\nPublished in the months of: March\, June\, Septem
ber\, and December.\n\n Methodology and International Standards\nThe Quarte
rly National Accounts (QNA) of Equatorial Guinea are prepared following the
System of National Accounts 1993 (SNA 93)\, base year 2006\, which constit
utes the official framework for measuring the main macroeconomic aggregates
 .\nTo ensure coherence\, comparability\, and quality\, the preparation of t
he QNA incorporates international recommendations from the World Bank\, the
UN\, and the IMF\, as well as other international organizations. In partic
ular\, the IMF Quarterly National Accounts Manual (2017) is used as a compl
ementary guide\, especially for structuring quarterly series\, seasonal adj
ustments\, and reconciliation with annual data.\nThis combination ensures t
hat the quarterly figures are reliable\, consistent with annual accounts\,
and comparable with international standards.\n In Equatorial Guinea\n\nQuar
terly GDP is calculated using the supply-side approach. in both current and
real values.\nValues are deflated using the National Consumer Price Index
(CPI) to calculate physical volume indices by activity class.\nBenchmarking
techniques are applied to ensure consistency with the Annual National Acco
 unts (ANA).
